HOW IT'S PERFORMED:

Collagen is the most abundant protein in the human body, comprising about 20% of the body's mass and around 30% of all bodily proteins. It is essential for holding the body's tissues together and is present in bones, muscles, skin, and tendons, where it provides crucial strength and structure. Collagen is a key component of skin, bones, and connective tissue, providing structural support, strength, and a degree of elasticity, especially when combined with elastin.
Collagen is a key component of the extracellular matrix, a complex network of macromolecules that defines the physical properties of body tissues. When broken down into smaller peptides, these fragments can penetrate the skin’s surface, helping to firm the skin and reduce signs of aging as they are absorbed. In the dermis, the middle layer of the skin, collagen creates a fibrous network that supports the growth of new cells and is vital for replacing and restoring dead skin cells. However, as we age, collagen production naturally declines, leading to reduced skin integrity, sagging, and the formation of lines and wrinkles.

HOW IT WORKS:
Rubbermasks are primarily made from clay and contain much less alginate (hydration) than jellymasks. We recommend using our rubbermask for 15-20 minutes toward the end of your skincare routine to ensure that all applied nutrients are effectively absorbed into the skin.
